As a former Director/Owner of San Juan Mountain Guides, Mike has been guiding ice in Ouray since 1998. He is one of the founding board members of Ouray Ice Park, Inc. and is the current Director/Owner of Ouray-based Rigging for Rescue – a cutting-edge technical rope rescue educational organization.
Mike has numerous ice climbing first ascents in the far reaches of Ouray County – and he won’t tell you about any of them.
