The Perfect Family Adventure!
Ouray has become a hot spot for canyoning. SJMG offers a number of different tours for different levels of canyoneers. From the scenic, but relatively mellow Portland Creek Canyon to the adventurous Cascade Canyon we have a wet and wild adventure for everyone!
Canyoning combines different elements of technical descent, waterfall rappel challenges, and incredible scenery. Our canyons are much different than the well known slot canyons of the desert southwest. Unlike the red sandstone walls of Utah, we have technicolor cave drops, huge flowing waterfalls, and alpine scenery. Canyoning in Ouray is a very unique experience suited for those with a thirst for adventure!
All Ages & Ability Levels Welcome
There are no prerequisites for canyoning with us in Ouray and all ages and ability levels are welcome to participate. We have the gear, terrain, and expertise to make any adventure successful and rewarding for you and your family. Join us this summer on an unforgettable adventure in “The Switzerland of America”!
Just to let you know; you guys came highly recommended by several sources. So much so, that no other business was even mentioned. Your professionalism in the business, community service, quality of service, and safety standards were all highly regarded. Thanks for setting the standards higher!” – W. Doucet
