San Juan Mountain Guides can rent you or your group most of the gear you need in order to ice climb, ski, or via ferrata in the Ouray area and the San Juan Mountains. We feature the most up-to-date gear from companies like Petzl, Ortovox, Wagner, La Sportiva, and more.
The tables below provide a convenient way for you to view what we have available to rent. Via Ferrata rental gear can be reserved at this booking link. Otherwise it is issued to walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. All costs are per day. Please call the office at 970-946-0713 for further questions.
Summer Rental Gear
*Rental gear is specifically for via ferrata use. You must be over 88 lbs and under 265 lbs to be rented gear. Due to the technical nature of the via ferratas in our area, we do not rent to individuals without some type of climbing experience.
